General Rules

How to take part?

BKOOL and RCS Sport bring you the chance to take part in the biggest virtual cycling event in history from your very own home. Would you like to experience the excitement of the Giro d’Italia stages first hand? Take part by completing the following simple steps:

  1. Sign up for BKOOL by creating a Premium account on our website. You do not need to pay any extra registration fee. El Giro d’Italia Virtual ENEL hosted by BKOOL 2022 is open to all BKOOL Premium subscribers. Remember that we offer a 30 day free trial for new members. Make the most of it!
  2. Download the BKOOL Cycling app (available on PC, Mac, Android tablets, iPads and Android smartphones).
  3. Log into the simulator with your profile. You will find the stage for each week at the top of the simulator, in the PROMO section. Complete the stage within the set dates and save your session when you have finished. You can do the stage as many times as you like within the set time period. Your best time will always be the one which is used in the rankings.

Dates and stages

The most realistic virtual cycling experience you can imagine. We have recorded the stages of the Giro d’Italia 2022 during the race, to offer you a new type of simulation which combines 3D and HD video. Immerse yourself completely in the actual stages of the Corsa Rosa and enjoy the atmosphere first hand, with unbeatable scenery and that special aurora that can only come from the magic of a race. This is the closest it gets to taking part in the Giro!

Check the dates to complete each one of the stages of the second event of the Giro d’Italia Virtual ENEL 2022 hosted by BKOOL: 

  • Stage 1: Salò - Aprica Part 1: 28th November - 4th December
  • Stage 2: Verona TISSOT ITT: 5th December - 11th December
  • Stage 3: Borgo Valsugana - Treviso Part 1: 12th December - 18th December
  • Stage 4: Passo Fedaia Part 1: 19th December - 25th December
